23 Active Facebook Groups For Bloggers

Facebook groups are a huge source of traffic today. Unfortunately, most bloggers are missing the point. These groups are free to create and free to join. However, in this post, I’m not talking about creating groups. I just want to list a few groups that I use to pull traffic to my blog.

Before listing these facebook groups, I must point out to you that it’s crucial to pay attention to group rules. While all these groups I have listed below accept links to your post, you are required to be active on them. Be sure to Like, comment and share posts by others. That way, yours will be Liked, commented and shared.

Now as a blogger, these are some of the facebook groups I’m member and get hundreds of referral traffic to my blog. I have listed them in no specific order. You can check them out and apply to join for.

1 - BlogShare

BlogShare is a facebook group open to bloggers looking to share their latest posts and discussions, get readers and more likes to your posts. Find answers to your blogging, SEO related questions. Join here

2 - Everything About Blogging

Everything About Blogging is a group for bloggers to share their latest posts and discussions, finding new readers and to get more likes/comment to your posts. Join here

3 - Blogger Forum

You can post your questions regarding Web Designing, Affiliate Marketing, Affiliate Programs and all Google Products here. Join group here

4 - Smashing Bloggers

This is one of the facebook groups to join. Smashing Bloggers is open group to help fellow bloggers who have queries in there blogging. It can be either WordPress or Blogspot. Join  here

5 - Blogging

In a world where you can get what you want, the owner of this facebook group felt it was time to ask what people want or want to hear about. So let him know what you want to hear about and he’ll let you know what the latest is. Join here

6 - Blogging Paradise

The owner of this facebook group has created it to help people in finding blogs of their own choice, So i invite all the bloggers to submit their blogs in this group. Join group here

7 - WordPress Warriors

This facebook group is for all Minded Bloggers who are using WordPress platform for Blogging. Join here

8 - Guest Blogging Group

This is a group to share guest posts, interact with bloggers who write, and those who accept guest writing. Discussions about Guest blogging. Join here

9 - iTechCode

Share Your Articles >> Do +1 and RT For Others and Get Same from them……Don’t Forget to Post a Comment on Shared Links Status after hitting +1 and RT ( Example : Done +1 and RT :) ) No Cheating :P . Join here

10 - Bloggerz

Exchange Comments, Tweets, Likes, PlusOnes, Stumbles, Diggs, Reddit UpVotes, Delicious Saves Join here

11 - Blogger’s Network

Blogger’s Network is an open group for all Bloggers to promote their posts and blog’s . They are also open to sharing their opinion on others posts and Blogging . Join here

12 - bloggers worldwide

The group just started today ,April 1,2012,  to help bloggers to increase traffic on their blog through comment exchange and social syndication,  to help with opportunities to make money online, to help promote events, give aways, blog contest you joined in, gain blog followers and anything that will benefit the members, guest posting, etc. Join here

13 - Blog Promotion

Use this facebook group  to promote Your Blog. No limit Warning – Don’t Promote Get Facebook like , Subscriber Twitter Follower etc. Join here

14 - Blogger’s Point

This facebook group is only meant for Bloggers, who want to share their ideas and suggestions in order build to Blogger Friendship. Join here

15 - Share your Posts

Share Your Any Post in this group. Join here 

16 - Blogging Squad

You can share your worthy and efficient blog post here. Join

17 - All about WordPress 

This is one of the many wordpress facebook groups to join. Please share related questions, blog posts, tips, and ideas. Join

The owners of this group permit you to spam it with Your Blog links! ;) Join here

19 - blogging help

This Group is for all bloggers either new or pro.For new Bloggers to ask for help regarding to their blogging problems,and for pros to help the new Bloggers. Join here

20 - Blogers and guest bloggers

This group is very much open unlike as named closed, it is just only closed in the sense that the owners want bloggers, guest posters, freelancers and other internet lated workers here. On the other hand, it occurs that this group is OPEN to any of your suggestions in relation to this and those which are not SPAM, thanks and you are calmly welcome to Blogers and Guest Bloggers. Join here. Another group related to this is Bloggers and Guest Bloggers. Take note of the difference.

21 - Bloggers Brunch

Post Your Questions Related to SEO, Blogging, WordPress, Web Development and Technology. Spammers will be removed without any Warning. Join here

This are some worthy facebook groups you should check out. You are not permitted to post links or blog post here. However, these are groups of interesting bloggers you need to engage with.

22 - BlogEngage facebook group

This isone of the facebook groups to. The Blog Engage Facebook Group is used for creating general discussions between bloggers. This group however does not allow the promotion of blog links or blog articles. You can post links when it’s helping another member find a solution or answer but the general use or sharing of links is prohibited. Check it out

23 - blogger Ileane Smith Fan Club

    Great Collections of Group. I’m currently member of some group which you have mentioned.

    It is all about sharing our articles in those groups by which we get traffic and also some social shares which help us to rank better. Also these groups help us in solving our issues related blogging and we can learn many things from others who are well knowledgeable in that field.

    really great list of blogging groups. I am a member of several of these myself, and they are full of great networkiing if you are in the BLogging/make money niche. however you can also waste a ton of time in them if you aren’t in that niche, most of the traffic you will get won’t be targeted and will waste your time.

    I am a member of a couple of Facebook groups and have been having some good success with them so far, I am receiving a lot more traffic since joining.
    You have listed many more ones here that I need to take a look at, I advise not to join too many or you will find it difficult to keep up with them all but a few good ones that will be beneficial will be fine.

    I have no doubt that a lot of people are going to be very thankful to you Enstine for sharing this list of groups. I, however, limit myself to the number of groups I’m a part of mainly because like you mentioned they want you to be active.

    It’s hard enough to keep up with the ones I’m a part of and I really must confess I enjoy the commenting groups the most. The majority of the people in those groups are there for a specific reason so they do what’s necessary. Everyone else usually just shares their posts, does a few likes and are off. You know me, I’m about building relationships so the less I’m in the more time I can spend.

    I’ve been on the look out too, and it does get tough to make out which ones are free to join, or where you are allowed to share your links without any problems. While I was already a part of a few groups you mentioned, I just joined in a few new ones just now, thanks to you. :)

    I don’t know how I can miss this posting. I found this lately I read it to be very important for me. Actually I am not so active in facebook. I have an account with facebook but I don’t make use of it optimally to draw traffic. I even do not join into any group.
    After reading this posting I am so interesting and anxious to join with one or two groups first to learn how it can affect to my blog .

      Initially, I wanted to list just groups that allow links for blog post promotion. However, I decided to add Blogengage and Ileane at the end just because these are serious groups (though they don’t accept links)
