Free website traffic is one of the most sort thing ever in blogging. Whether it is commenting, guest posting or writing killer contents, all we aim at is targeted free traffic. In this article, I want to discuss three main ways to get free website traffic to our blogs or sites. These may not be unheard ways.
I’m sure you have used them somehow but what I’m trying to do is lay emphasis on them as they are ways that generates real free website traffic – that means they work.
Exciting website contents
Your readers have to be excited about checking your blog every moment because they are sure of awesome contents. You have to understand I’m not just talking about ‘good’ or ‘valuable’ contents. If you really want your contents to generate free website traffic, it has to go beyond being naturally good. When your readers get excited and fulfilled, they will share your links on their social media profiles, link to your blog from theirs, talk about your blog with others, etc. This will generate more free traffic.
SEO Traffic
This remains and is by far my best source of targeted free website traffic. This is very easy traffic to convert into leads or sales. Visitors are directed to your blog or website based on what they are looking for. Search engines think your site is most probably going to satisfy them based on the keywords submitted. With proper search engine optimization and recent Google algorithm updates, there are high chances that you get amazing conversion rates with this traffic source. When writing your next blog post, pay attention on how to drive free website traffic from search engines.
Referral Traffic
This is traffic sent to your blog from other sites. It’s the easiest source of free website traffic if you are active on social media and have a few friends that are also active online. Here are some few popular sites from where you can easily drive free website traffic to your blogs:
Bloggers.com: This is one powerful source of traffic you should not look low on. By creating talks and taking part in discussions, your traffic grows by minutes.
Inblound.org: I have known this site for a couple of months and the traffic I get here is worth mentioning.
Bizsugar.com: This one too has been on my list for some months too. It happends to be sending a huge chunk of the referral traffic I get to my blog.
Blokube.com: Similar to Bizsugar above, the traffic from this site is worth giving a try
Bloginteract.com: This is another interesting news sharing or social bookmarking site that’s worth working with. Be sure to have some more traffic
Quora.com: Quora is new on my list and I’m happy with the results I’m getting. Search and answer questions from all areas of life. Of course, you have to be focused on your niche.
Twitter.com: In my first post of the year, I mentioned 3 Twitter Apps that form a huge source of traffic both from themselves and Twitter. These are TraffUp, EasyRetweet and JustRetweet. Give them a try if you are active on Twitter
Blog commenting: This is by far a sure and easy way to get free website traffic from as many related blogs as possible. The difference only comes in with the quality of your comments. The more the value, the more attractive you appear to readers. CommentLuv has made this exerciser a mad one.
Guest Posting: Providing contents for other blogs is exciting. What this does it send tons of free website traffic to your site and helps you build more relationships.
Of course, I know you can drive huge free website traffic from social media sites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc. Success on these sites depends on the quality of your actions on the social media landscape. If you follow the industry rules, you will rock. However, if you are the disorderly type, you will spend your time thinking why things are not working for you.

I never tried Blokube.com and Bizsugar, will start now, my referral traffic more through blog commenting.
Twitter is my top social network to send traffic, I use JustRetweet, also signed up for Easyretweet but not active.
Now will try above mentioned sites, and see ow it can help to increase referral traffic.

I’ve tried Bloggers.com and JustRetweet and had some great results from those two.
My main source of traffic is from blog hopping and even though it takes a lot of time to be reading lots of blogs and writing great comments on them, it gives you a great opportunity to network and meet fellow bloggers and marketers.
This activity alone can put massive money in your pocket if you play your cards right and meet the right people!

I have not tried Blokube.com and Bizsugar.com so I will take a look at them, I get most of my traffic from blog commenting and social media sites like Twitter & Facebook, I am going to try Pinterest soon too. Like Sergio said blog commenting is a little time consuming but so worth it, not only have I gained traffic but have connected with some great people. There is a lot of information to be found also visiting other blogs, it’s all about building relationships

Yea, I noticed that the quality isn’t great. I haven’t found too much I can retweet to earn credits (or points as it’s called there), but my one tweet has gotten retweeted 9 times already in a very short time. The most effective method with this site might be to simply buy credits to get my content retweeted. What do you find is the best way to use this site?

I usually view websites to generate the credits I want for retweets. I don’t retweets from it. I sometimes follow. You can buy credits too if you don’t have the time to interact on it. I think I used to do that too
