Christmas is around the corner and Christians worldwide are getting very busy with preparations. Over the years, the use of Christmas trees has evolved so largely that almost every Christian home has at least one tree at the corner this season. In this infography, I have given a synopsis of the history of the use of Christmas tree in the United States.

One quick way to fail in WordPress and blogging is trying to learn the hard way - by searching for free videos and tips. That's like trying to complete a HUGE jiggsaw puzzle, for which the pieces always don't fit.
There's a better solution though...
Kim Castleberry and her team have worked hard to assemble great collection of video tutorials that you can download and get started with right now. Most of them even include transcripts in case the text format works better for you! I’m really not into Christmas, but you gave us all some interesting facts about the trees etc, things that I would not have come across. I do like good info. Nice post.
Hey Rum,
I’m excited you followed me from bloggers.com and thanks for reading and taking time to leave a comment.
I’m glad you like the info. Hope to see you again
Well isn’t that interesting Enstine. I learned something new today.
I haven’t put up a Christmas tree in years. Personally, I love the real ones but they continue to get more expensive with each new year. Then there is buying it, loading it in the car, bringing it home, getting it into the house by myself, putting it up, decorating it and then taking it down and hauling it off after the holiday is over. It became way too much trouble but I do love the smell of a fresh tree. Plus, they are just darn beautiful.
I’m still festive though, decorating my home. Just no longer with a tree. Thanks for sharing this interesting bit of history.

lol that’s what makes the tree the tree. You’ll have to take it through those steps for it to be a Christmas Tree.
Oh yeah, the tree is just one of the decors available. Lots of others things to keep the environment beautiful.
Wishing you the best this season!
This was very interesting. Definitely didn’t know this about the Christmas tree!

Hey Sue,
You are here again. Thanks for coming back and leaving a contribution.
Are you buying a tree this season?
I wish you too and family a Happy Christmas
Not a real one, I’m afraid, Enstine – we’ll just be dusting down the artificial one – it looks lovely when it’s all trimmed up, though (and no falling pine needles to contend with!)

Yeah Sue with the artificial trees, you get less work and you can use one piece over and over again but the opportunity cost are the advantages of growing natural trees

That was some great information. My son asked me other day why we have a Pine Tree for Christmas. I told him we are celebrating winter. But now I will tell him who & where the idea came from. Thanks. Ernesto
