Meet Ti Roberts

ti robertsTi Roberts got her first glimpse of internet marketing back in 2005.  She’d been aimlessly surfing YouTube, suffering from some serious cabin fever, when and she came across an intriguing video talking about how to start an internet business.  What peeked her interest initially was the concept of even being able to make money from her computer.

She had a hard time comprehending how that was possible.

However, at the time, she was unemployed, just graduated from high school and she desperately needed to make money. So, she figured she’d give this make money online thing a try and that day was the start of a full blown obsession that brought her to where she is today.

It’s now been over 8 years since that fateful day and she’s been through nearly every “make money online” model there is and has had many failures in her quest to find success.

However, in spite of her many failures there was something inside of her that wouldn’t let her completely turn her back on the idea. Ever since she was a young child, she’s always wanted to have her own business.  Her Mother and Father had several small businesses of their own, so since she grew up around such entrepreneurial parents she was bound to follow in their footsteps.

Last year, after months of letting her main blog go stale, Ti decided to re-launch her blog with the renewed focus of generating traffic. After years of trial and error, Ti realized that if she really wanted to achieve the success online that she wanted, she would have to master the art of online traffic generation.

Within only three months of her blog re-launch, Ti was offered 3 guest post spots on 3 high profile blogs in her niche and generated over 19,000 visitors in her first 90 days. Ti was very excited about getting those kinds of results in such a short amount of time and decided to create her first product, Top Bloggers Traffic, to share all that she did to achieve those results.

The whole goal of her blog is to teach people how to rebel against traditional SEO and learn how to build fast web traffic via inbound marketing, social media and directly engaging your audience – while at the same time building up one of the most valuable assets a blogger has – a list of loyal subscribers.

She thoroughly enjoys running her blog, The SEO Rebel, and she’s been having a Monday night football blast creating content for it and engaging her readers.

“There’s nothing like connecting with a kindred blogging soul who understands your quirkiness and geeky excitement when it comes to unique visitors and conversion rates.  It’s like having our own secret language for our ‘Bloggers Only’ club. :)”

She believes that combining your own unique personality and voice with the skills of knowing how to engage your audience can drive significant amounts of traffic and is a surefire formula to bring about massive change in the blogosphere, regardless of your niche.

There’s no need for backlink stuffing and sneaky SEO tricks. Simply creating high quality content is enough to build lots of traffic and gain significant amounts of brand exposure and name recognition.

Ti aims to show all of her subscribers how to reach hundreds of thousands of people and let their voices be heard, in the simplest way possible – whether their voice is for their service, their product, their content, or simply a cause they want to make people aware of.

She’s convinced that having solid, evergreen inbound marketing and traffic generation skills can ultimately bring about life altering change in bloggers’ lives and the lives of their readers.

Hi Ti, I’ve always been her fan anyway and I love the way she writes. I remember when I joined bizsugar, I awyas see her around everywhere.I’ve actually wanted to ask how she manage her time to visit communities like that. I’ll love to learn from her anyway. Enstine, I approached u on facebook to connect with you but u never replied. You are a great man.

  4. Hi Ti, and welcome to Enstine’s blog as the blogger of the week :)

It surely is nice to know more about you through this interview. I know life’s pretty busy and even though we might want to, it becomes tough to be all over even though we might want to. Nevertheless, it’s good to see you all over the Blogosphere nowadays, and I wonder how you manage things on Bizsugar….I still need to learn more about it and I do wish they would add more categories than the ones they have presently, which would cater to a larger audience.

Thanks once again Enstine for bringing up yet another wonderful blogger here today. Have a nice week ahead, both of you :)

    Very interesting interview, Enstine!

I know Ti via Bizsugar, she is doing great over there.
    She demonstrates enthusiasm and professionalism.

Keep up the fantastic work! :-)

  6. I quite agree with Harleena that the categories on Bizsugar be broadened. For instance Bizsugar is supposed to be a place for bloggers but surprisingly, when trying to submit a new link, you don’t find a category that caters exclusively for blogging.

Well, it’s nice to meet you here Ti Roberts and I wish to congratulate you on your blogging milestone. I know it’s not easy to stand out from the crowd but you have been able to break that traffic barrier that has limited so many bloggers from making real money online.

You’ve just done what the probloggers are doing – have your own distinct product/service that solves other people’s problems and earn regular income from there. I am glad you’ve passed the stage of wandering aimlessly looking for how to figure out things and today, you are a teacher of sort.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Thanks Enstine for featuring Ti Roberts on your blog this week. Have a pleasant weekend ahead both of you.

      Hi Efoghor,

Great to see your comment and meet you. :)

I’m glad to hear you’ve enjoyed my story, thanks for taking the time to read it.

Yes, creating my own product was something that I needed to do to really leverage my earning potential.

If you have in mind to create your own product as well, I encourage you to do so. I’ve just recently written an article on my blog detailing my product creation process that might help you. Let me know if there’s anything else I might be able to help you with as well. :)

BizSugar is a place for bloggers, however, it’s more so geared towards small businesses, which may also use blogging to get the word out about their product or service. So while we encourage bloggers to submit their posts, the main audience we cater to are traditional small businesses.

I would suggest trying BlogEngage on for size as they’re a great blogging community and you can build up some great traffic and relationships from them as well. :)

Thanks again for you feedback and I look forward to seeing more of you around soon. :)

  11. Ti is a wonderful girl. I recently stumbled on her blog when she was mentioned over at Ana Hoffman’s caffe. I decided to visit her blog and I was amazed that she made so incredible progress in only three months. 20,000 traffic for only 90 days was nearly impossible for me when I was starting out.

Keep with good work Ti, you are really talented girl!

  14. “In fact, blog commenting is the #1 thing I did to drive traffic to my blog when I relaunched it last year, which generated 8,000+ visitors in it’s first 30 days.”

This was the things that got me glued in here post. Wow! No wonder why she’s the blogger of the week. So congrats to her! I guess I am just like here as of this moment, I also want to make money from my computer. :)

And 8 years is quite long. Well, making money online isn’t easy and you have to face different challenges and know everything online.
