Tim Bonner ~ Blogger of the week

Hello and welcome to this week’s blogger of the week. As usual, this week, we have a well respected blogger who is beginning to create a name for himself. Tim has been blogging for a year and some months but his results are worth years. I think this is the kind of smart and hard working blogger I always wanted to hook up with. Somehow, I don’t care much about longevity. I care more about results and Tim’s are very attractive.

Meet Tim Bonner

Tim BonnerTim Bonner started blogging in May 2012 and is the creator of Tim-Bonner.com. As a Stay At Home Dad, he decided that blogging may be a way to connect with others online, to earn an income from home and also be a separate focus from looking after his kids.

He invites others to join him on his blogging journey and shares what he learns along the way. His passion is to help other bloggers with their own blogging journey. He’s particularly interested in finding new and alternative products and services which are of benefit to his readers.

Tim writes about all aspects of blogging; from tips on blogging itself, to social media and traffic generation as well as covering SEO, WordPress and affiliate marketing. If he’s learnt about it and it can help others then he covers it on his blog!

The aspects he most enjoys about blogging is getting to know other like-minded people and becoming part of a greater blogging community. He also loves to research things and always aims to explain the more complex things he discovers in simpler terms, making them easier to understand for everyone.

Recently, Tim has also started working on building niche blogs to diversify his online income. He’s had success with his blog, PottyTrainHelp.com and aims to expand on this by building further niche blogs and sharing his experiences and knowledge with others.

Congratulations Tim so nice to see you on here. It must have been tough at first being a stay at home dad and blogging but I see you have others in your company too that do just that. I’m always in awe when I see bloggers juggle it all with small children. I can’t imagine having done that when my boys were little. You must not need a lot of sleep :) I love the name of the Potty Train Help blog and wish you much success with it!

      Hi Lisa

It’s getting easier Lisa now that my kids are going to school and nursery. I have more time to write.

When I first started blogging, it took days to write a blog post because I kept having to stop and start.

I don’t get as much sleep as I’d like. I’m hoping that improves too as my kids get a little older!

It’s amazing that there are so many of us stay at home dad bloggers now. I’m in great company.

Thank you for your kind comments Lisa!

Enjoy the rest of the week.

Hi Enstine, it was great to know about Tim……… such bloggers will always be a inspiration to others. Thanks for sharing this with us.

  5. Tim, nice to meet you here. The results you have got within a few months of blogging is quite impressive. I really glad you are one of the few bloggers interested in building some sort of interactive communities. The best way to succeed in any endevour is to surround yourself with serious-minded people who share the same vision or ideology with you.

  6. Hi Tim, and welcome to Enstine’s blog as the Blogger of the Week :)

Sorry for coming in a little late today – just been having a lot of connectivity problems, though I’m glad I’m here now.

It amazes me to see how you can manage your kids and the blog so well, not to mention that your kids are still small, and this is really the toughest part of their growing years. They need their full attention and also need to be taught and disciplined in the right way, so hats-off to you. I know when my kids were small, I was doing nothing else except bringing them up and that in itself is a full-time-never-ending-job!!

I can so well relate to the little time you must be getting to write when your kids are away at school, though I’m sure things will only get better for you once they grow older and move to higher classes. And you are already working on a new site – I liked that name- so apt for potty training kids that age ;)

Thanks for sharing more about Tim with us, Enstine – great series indeed. Have a nice week, both of you :)

      Hi Harleena

When I first started blogging it was tough because most of the time I was looking after my daughter and whenever I had a spare five minutes I’d write another paragraph in a post.

It’s getting easier as the kids are spreading their wings a little and going to school and nursery. It’s still easier to spend time working in the evenings though when they’ve gone to sleep. I don’t always like to though as I’d never see my wife otherwise!

I now also work some evenings in the school where we live and my wife works. It’s looking after a group of school pupils in a boarding school but most of the time they are doing homework so I get to catch up on all things blogging!

I hope your connectivity problem have now subsided Harleena. There’s nothing worse than that when you want to get some work done. I’m always amazed at how much commenting you get through as well as being a freelance writer! Your comments are always welcome as they are so well thought out.

Anyway, thank you for your comments Harleena.

Enjoy the rest of the week.

  11. Hey there Tim,

It’s great to see you featured here and I always enjoy learning more about my blogging friends. I bet it seems like you’ve been blogging a lot longer then you have right!

As you know I so admire that you’re a stay at home day because I think that’s so admirable of you to take on that role. Not a lot of Dad’s would do that, way too much pride.

So glad you’re enjoying blogging and I’ve learned some things from you too. I love that so I’m glad that you’re always looking for ways to benefit us. Keep up the great work okay!

Great interview Enstine and you two have a great week.

      Hi Adrienne

It sure does seem like I’ve been blogging for longer than 15 months. That’s no time at all in blogging terms!

I love being a stay at home dad Adrienne. It was one of the best and most amazing decisions my wife and I ever made.

My kids have been so much happier and more settled since I’ve been at home. It’s not an easy job though! I hold my hands up to all of the mums that stay at home too because I thought it was going to be a little easier!

I’m pleased to hear that you have learned some things from me too Adrienne. I really enjoy helping others and as you say, looking for ways to benefit others by sharing what I’ve learned.

Thank you for your kind comments Adrienne. They are very much appreciated!

      Happy Hump Day!

    Hi Tim,

Great to see you, I’ve read your story about you being a stay at home dad with your kids on your blog. I think it’s awesome and I know that it has to be a challenge to juggle taking care of the kids and working online.

You’ve managed it very well and I know that a lot of people could learn quite a few things from you.

Awesome job and I will be sure to check out some of those posts on top. I’ve read some of them but a few of them I haven’t had the time. Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a wonderful day.

  15. You are right. Sometimes, longevity doesn’t matter. I mean, it is important because as years pass, you gather experiences that will always serve as a lesson and will help with future endeavors. But there’s always an exception to that rule, and I guess Tim Bonner’s one. :)

Thanks for sharing! I’ve also shared this on Kingged.com, the IM content aggregator site. :)
