Powerful hidden traffic strategy for bloggers

I want to share with you a killer traffic strategy for bloggers used by many top, savvy bloggers. Most of them have this secret that they rarely mention in public. They put it to use and it generates huge traffic to their blogs. You most have read about “secret traffic methods” but what you are about to read is different and DOES NOT FAIL. I was reading BuzzBlogger where she shared this as one of her strategies and I said I can’t wait to start this. I immediately organized my myself and right now, it’s beginning to work for me.

One reason it may not work for you

There is only one reason this strategy will not work for you. Yes! If you read and don’t take action now, you are never going to have it work. There is no failure involved if you re-organize yourself and start it

Blogging Alliance

In fact, BuzzBlogger calls it Blogging Alliance. Kiesha Easley calls it A successful Team what ever name that’s given to it, building a team of like-minded bloggers and working toward aggressive promotion of each other is the powerful, under-exploited bloggers’ traffic strategy.

What happens?

Simple! Bloggers come together and build a group with the sole purpose of promoting each other’s blog posts. They fully give themselves to their engagement, promoting each other “aggressively” day in day out. What they get is mass exposure, traffic and sales. Everyone wins. They may not meet person to person.

How to make your blog popular in 10 weeks following a step-by-step and carefully laid plan. Learn powerful tips of building A Successful group that helps to organize and send traffic to your blog.

In this work, Kiesha also throws in some powerfull points that will certainly help you make money as you blog. If you are just starting a blog or struggling to make it in blogging, this is what I recommend for you Read More ...

How do they promote each other?

There are often many ways depending on their objectives and businesses. Generally, here are some of the ways commonly used :

  • Link exchange
  • Retweeting each other’s posts
  • Liking and sharing each other’s posts on facebook
  • “Linkedining”
  • Guest posting on each other’s blog
  • Commenting on each other’s post
  • Promoting each other’s products
  • Interviewing each other
  • ETC

All this put together are great ways to pull traffic.

How many members per group ?

Generally, they are always few members to be effective. The more the members, the more heavy it becomes to accomplish the tasks set. However, each member can belong to as many alliances as possible.

What I just did.

As soon as I understood this strategy, I quickly contacted 5 of my blogger friends to team up. They all said YES and I was so excited about it. The next thing I did was set up a facebook group for 10 members only. This will be where we share our blog posts and task accomplishment. We are soon going to get 5 more bloggers to make 10. I don’t want this alliance to be more than 10 members ;)

What you should do.

I encourage you create a group if you don’t have one. Don’t just invite anybody. Make sure to invite and accept only bloggers who understand the game and are willing to play by the rules.

  1. Wow! Very nice write ups. But don’t you think its somehow difficult for bloggers to come together

  2. well written but this can not be achieved without the cooperation of everybody, its hard for people to have the same mindset as you have, aside that, its a great strategy that will surely work if put in place.’
    nice creative thinking! ;-)

  3. How far can you push a donkey to go? Though, it may endure awhile, but it takes real interest and free will to succeed. For me, the group thing can only work given when both contents and likes agree. That is, maintaining a larger blogger community, but no pressure to promotional efforts, rather individual bloggers get to follow members they are impressed with. Good idea still!

    • Hi John,
You need just 10 – 15 members whose main objective is to promote each other. That’s what many big guys are doing. You don’t need a large community. You may want to start with a group of 3 or 4. You guys commit yourselves and focus on the method (not that you should forget other methods though). You will surely see results

  7. These are good tactics that are probably being practised in secrecy by top bloggers. There are blogging syndicates whose members are already doing it. But mind you, there are bloggers who reciprocate each other with comments, retweets and Linkedining. So there are smaller ones being unknowingly done. But I must say its a good idea.

I’m glad to see you here again.
There is no doubt this is done by some bloggers and they are seeing good results. Young bloggers can really benefit tremendously if they organize themselves in such responsive traffic groups and keep to their engagements.

      Please, come back again ;)

  9. This is great idea but some people are too stingy. They wont reciprocate.

  10. a very nice idea, but what if the bloggers blogs are not even getting any traffic? then who are showing another blog too? i think the only way the method can work is by looking for a well established blogger and join him with the others…… just my 2 cents

    • Traffic to our blogs is what we want bro. If the bloggers’ blogs don’t get traffic, they can come together and pull traffic from their social medial profiles. The reason we come together is because we are not getting traffic.

It may be difficult to get well established bloggers to join hands with. Most of them would like to associate with other well established bloggers. If young bloggers come together and put this strategy to work, they will surely grow up together and faster.

      Thanks for stopping by bro

This post was awesome and im gonna try this stuff with some of my blogger friends.
I was wondering if your group of 10 bloggers is finally complete.
I wouldn’t mind joining your group

  14. Hi Muki….
This is great tricks and people are following it secretly in different groups.
I don’t think any harm in thia as it is win win game for all.

Apart from this we need to encourage social meda more effectively by increasing the enagegement with fellow bloggers to get maximum exposure.

  16. Hi Enstine,

What a great idea. It sure is a unique strategy of only getting a handful of like-minded bloggers to fire up each other’s blogs. It sounds really easy, but getting the full cooperation of every blogger who agrees to help out can be quite a problem in most cases.

Maybe that’s the reason why top blogs are always getting the bigger slice of the blogging pie – they secretly do these (with other top blogs) without letting others know. It is really possible for this traffic strategy to work, but for sure it won’t be that easy if you cannot find those ideal bloggers.

    Thanks for sharing!

    • Hi Felicia,
You are very right. Building such a group of active members does not come in a single day. It requires time. You may have to accept and reject some, doing some filtering till you find those that mean business.

I believe that if 10 bloggers get together and are seriously involved, they will soon find crushing solution to their traffic problems.

Thanks for stopping by and please, do create time to come again

  20. Some killer tactics indeed… I noticed a couple of my india friends / popular bloggers doing so, but the thing is…. would NIGERIAN bloggers agree to join forces?? Lets watch and see… I think I’ll join an indian group, they’re more serious minded…

  34. I note there’s a few naysayers, but I can tell you it works, and it’s not really so secret.

I write about personal finance, and I follow other PF bloggers. I regularly comment on other bloggers posts I find interesting, and retweet or mention them on twitter. Some of them reciprocate the retweets and so my posts get shared. TBH I don;t think you even need to set up a dedicated network. Many people (including myself) see it as a form of etiquette.
OK so some don’t play ball, or perhaps they’re just too big to respond to everyone, but that’s fine. If you’re retweeting good content and interacting with people, you’ll find your follower count starts to rise anyway, and as a result you get more retweets.

There isn’t really much to it, and it does generate traffic. I’ve been PF blogging since October, and although my traffic figures aren;t stellar just yet, they are growing, and they are respectable. Plus – that’s with no SEO work at all, and hardly any traffic from google SERPS, which I kinda like, because google can do what the hell it likes and it won;t affect my traffic stats :)

Incidentally Enstine, why limit your Facebook group? I’ve found that among PF bloggers, writers of similar “flavours” will naturally tend to gravitate towards each other forming into small informal groups that promote their “members”, and of course some of these groups will overlap with each other.

    • Hey Matt,
      thanks for the interesting comment.
There are different ways to go about this. You can belong to as many groups as possible but the dedicated groups is a group of responsibility. It goes beyond sharing of articles. You hit things like reviews, guest post exchange, list swaps, etc, these beings things you can’t get with generic groups. Oftentimes, 10 members in the groups are more productive. The more the members, the lesser the productivity.

      How about that?
